EXAM PREP REQUIREMENTS
Webcam & Microphone
- The LIVE Exam Prep is classroom-style and involves student participation.
- For the best learning experience for all, please participate from workspace where you are comfortable but focused. Please do not participate in your vehicle, on the job site, with children present, etc. Sorry, no exceptions.
- Mandatory: Webcams are required to be ‘on’. Sorry, no exceptions.
- Microphones can be ‘on’ for the most simulated classroom experience, or muted when you’re not speaking.
Preparing for the Review & Exam Prep
- Although we will tackle the tough topics and answer all questions, please keep in mind that this is a REVIEW class, not instructional time. Therefore, it is important for you complete the chapter modules before attending the review and Exam Prep.
- Should you be unable to complete all learning modules, you are welcome to log in, but we ask that you refrain from participating in subjects for which you did not study. This ensures ample review time for students who may have their exam scheduled for the following day.
Learning Environment
- Please be situated in a quiet location in your home or office so your background noise does not disturb you or the class. Feel free to turn off your mic when not speaking.
Connectivity Issues
- Problems joining the class can usually be resolved by logging in on a desktop/laptop computer and then calling in on a mobile device.
Technology Requirements
- You must have a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with speakers, webcam, and microphone.
- High-speed internet is adequate for streaming video.
- Desktop and laptop computers provide the best user experience since the instructor will be sharing visuals.
- If your computer does not have a webcam, speakers or microphone, you can login on your computer for visual and call in on your phone for audio.
- Test your microphone, speakers, and webcam by joining the class up to 10 minutes prior to the start time.
- Your instructor will log on 10 minutes prior to the class start time to assist with login issues but cannot take time to assist late attendees.
